A graveside service for Brenda Smith Shipwash, age 58, of Granbury, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 25, 2012 at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, Texas, with Matt Gordon officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service (10:00 a.m.). Brenda Smith Shipwash passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Dallas on December 19, 1953, the daughter of Bobby Jewel Smith and Joyce Faye (Caviness) Smith. She married Claude Shipwash. He preceded her in death in 2001. She was a retired nurse and she was of the Christian faith. Survivors include: Brandon Daugherty of Springtown; daughter, Amy Gordon of Granbury; two sisters, Ann Sudderth of Commerce and Toni Hutcherson of Ridgeway and grandchildren, Chyenne Columbus, Stormy Ardis, Savannah Ardis, James Ardis, Tom Gordon, Isaac Gordon, Katy Gordon and Andrew Gordon.
