Funeral services for Polly Pearl Willett Moody, age 101, of Quitman will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 15, 1012, with Rev. David Smith and Rev. Gary Hampton officiating . Interment will follow at Black Oak Cemetery, with Johnny Coates, Tommy Coates, Rip Coates, Donnie Sutterfield, Jeremy Sutterfield, Ronnie Roberts, Kevin Foster, Jay Foster and Chris Foster serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Bobby Sutterfield, Gene Sutterfield, David Roy Carr, Jerry Elliott, Gary Lynn and Erick Lynn. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Polly Pearl Willett Moody passed away Tuesday evening, June 12, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Fulton, Arkansas on October 16, 1910, the daughter of Iron Willett and Mary Elizabeth (Briscoe) Willett. She married George Washington Moody. He preceded her in death. She was a retired seamstress for Herman-Marcus in Dallas and a member of Cartwright Baptist Church. Survivors include: four daughters, Katie Baker, Thelma Elliott, both of Como, Margaret Coates and Lottie Foster, both of Quitman; grandchildren, Randy Carr, Peggy Carr, Teresa Carr, David Roy Carr, Judy Carr, Bobby Sutterfield, Donny Sutterfield, Gene Sutterfield, Jerry Elliott, Becky Embry, Deborah Attaway, Sandy Elliott, Cynthia Jackson, Johnny Coates, Tommy Coates, Rip Coates, Bryan Coates, Marcia Rushing, Linda McCummings, Ruthie Comeau, Tina Lamb, Terry Lynn, Jay Foster and Kevin Foster and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one son, Walter Marvin Moody; two daughters, Dorothy Fay Carr and Frances Sue Harris; three sisters, Annie Smith, Mabel Coppick and Ruby Littleton; three brothers, John Willett, Joe Willett and Henry Willett; grandchildren, Jimmy Sutterfield, Michael Sutterfield, Nathan Lee, David Lee, Keith Coates and Jon Wendell Foster.
