A memorial service for Gerald Wayne “Bubba” Bell, age 50, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 22, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, with Don Deaton officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service (1:00 p.m.) at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Gerald Wayne “Bubba” Bell passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2012 in Sulphur Springs. He was born in Sulphur Springs January 17, 1962, the son of George W. Bell and Bobbee (Bunch) Bell. He was a heating and air conditioning technician and a member of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Sulphur Springs High School where he participated in several sports. Survivors include: his parents; brother Robert Scott Bell and wife, Dana, of Mansfield; sisters, Julie Daniel and husband, Dickey, of College Station and Lisa Eckerd and husband, Jimmy, of Sulphur Springs. Gerald’s children were his nieces and nephews, Dan and Leighann Daniel, Crystal and Ryan Derkowski of College Station, Garrett and Megan Bell of Mansfield, Jordan and Elle Eckerd of Sulphur Springs. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, G. W. and Thelma Bell and J. R. and Allie Bunch. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
