Wynell Hammond

Funeral service for Wynell C Hammond, age 84, of Sulphur Springs,TX will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Randy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Sherley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Monday, January 08, 2018. Ms. Hammond passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at CHRISTUS Mother Frances, Sulphur Springs, Texas.

Wynell C. Hammond was born on January 18, 1933 in Hopkins County, the daughter of Walter and Helen (Fletcher) Camp. She married Donald Avery Hammond on August 13, 1948 in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Wynell was a homemaker and member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Don; son, Danny Charles Hammond and wife, Sherry; grandchildren, Jennifer Mercer, Dani Goodgine; great grandchildren, Jonathon Mercer, Michael Mercer, Beau Goodgine, Joy Goodgine, Hope Goodgine.

Wynell was preceded in death by her parents and four sisters.
