Albert Morgan

Funeral service for Albert Ray Morgan, age 72 of Sulphur Springs, TX will be held at 11:00A.M. on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Love and Faith Church in Greenville, TX with Rev Undra Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Grundy Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00A.M. to 5:00P.M. on Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home in Sulphur Springs, TX. A second visitation will be held from 9:00A.M. to 5:00P.M. on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Peters Funeral Home in Greenville, TX. Mr. Morgan passed away on January 27, 2022 at Presbyterian Dallas.

Albert was born on September 22, 1949 in Greenville, TX to James Brigham and Vela (Morgan) Staten. He was a veteran of the United States Navy. Albert was a retired dairy machine operator. He was a man of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by his daughter, Erecka Anderson; son, Patrick Morgan; grandchildren, D.K. Payne, Braxton Morgan and Brielle Morgan; sisters, Dorothy Washington, Gloria Brown, Sandra Kennedy and Bettye Mondy; brother, Willie Morgan and special friend, Rose Dial.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Willie Staten.
