Albert "DeWitt' Goodson

A memorial service for Albert “DeWitt” Goodson, age 86, of Sulphur Springs will be held at a later date. Albert passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Sulphur Springs Health and Rehab.

Albert was born on November 23, 1935 in Mt. Vernon to Charlie and Dovie Marie Gunn Goodson. He retired from being an oil field welder and was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his daughters, Pamela Piwowarski, Janet Carter, Connie Ivester and husband Dennis; nephew, Dewayne Cockrell and wife Billie; several step children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Albert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Bonnie Faye; sister, Clara Lou and numerous other relatives.
