Armand Dulude

Funeral services for Rev. Armand Dulude, age 67, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 9, 2010, with Rev. David Burns officiating. Interment will follow at Shooks Chapel Cemetery, with Josh Dulude, Zach Dulude, Paul Hitt, Russell Dulude, Greg Pullen and Colby Pullen serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearer will be David Dulude, Jr. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Rev. Armand Dulude passed away at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler, Wednesday morning, August 4, 2010. He was born in Central Falls, Rhode Island, August 11, 1942, the son of Euclide Dulude and Emma O. (Gagnon) Dulude. He married Norma Gagne at Attleboro, Massachusetts on May 4, 1963; she survives. Rev. Dulude was a former Baptist pastor of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, Glade Springs Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, Springhill Baptist Church in Dekalb and Weaver Baptist Church in Weaver.
Other survivors include: daughter, Cathy Pullen & husband, Greg, of Sulphur Springs; two sons, David Dulude of Longview, Danny Dulude and wife, Robin, of Quitman; two sisters, Jeanette Larivee and husband, Phil, of North Providence, Rhode Island and Irene Buster of Sulphur Springs; brother, Ernest Dulude and wife, Paulette of Largo, Florida; cousin, Raymond Dulude and wife, Joanne, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Ashley Nunley, Nicole Hitt, Josh Dulude, Haley Shackelford, Courtney Sisson, Zach Dulude, Megan Dulude, Colby Pullen and David Dulude, Jr. and great-grandchildren, Rylan Nunley, Abraham Lopez, Trae Hitt, Astrid Hitt, Chevy Sisson and one expected great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by: his parents; sister, Cecile Whittington; and great-grandchild, Carlos Lopez.
