Billy Martel

A memorial service for Billy Martel, age 51, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, November 4, 2012.
Billy Martel passed away Wednesday morning, October 31, 2012. He was born in Van Alstyne on July 1, 1961, the son of Irvin Martel and Dorothy Davis Martel. He was a supervisor at Morningstar and served as a U.S. Marine.
Survivors include: wife, Kim Martel; daughters, Hannah and Madison Martel, both of Sulphur Springs; sisters, Margie Smith of Sulphur Springs, Debbie Willis of Sherman, and Debra Deboer of Tacoma, WA; brothers, Larry Perry of Sulphur Springs, Jim Perry of Atoka, OK, Joel Perry of Arizona, Jimmy Melton of Detroit, TX, and Dean Melton of Detroit, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Perry.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of your choice.
