Bobbie McCoy

Funeral services for Bobbie McCoy, age 88, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 21, 2010, with Rev. Bob Parker officiating. Interment will follow at Sherley Cemetery, with Rev. Bob Parker, Don McCoy, Joe McCoy and David Parker serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Randle and Joey McCoy. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Bobbie McCoy passed away Sunday evening, April 18, 2010 at Carriage House Nursing Home. She was born in Caney, Oklahoma, on July 3, 1921, the daughter of Paul Spraggins and Pearl (Allen) Spraggins. She was married to Jake L. McCoy in Durant, Oklahoma on August 9, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1998. Mrs. McCoy was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Sherry Parker and husband, Bob, of McGregor; two sons, Don McCoy and wife, Sheryl of Corvallis, Oregon, Joe McCoy and wife, Le Anda of Como; grandchildren, David Parker, Cameryn Blake, Jason McCoy, Joey McCoy and Megan McCoy and great-grandchildren, Noah Parker and Ethan Parker. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leon Spraggins and Jack Spraggins and sister, Polly Lutner.
