Bobby McCoy

Memorial services for Bobby McCoy, age 74, of Brashear, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2010, with Rev. John Gandy and Rev. Bobby Wagoner officiating. Inurnment will follow at a later date at Restlawn Memorial Park. No formal visitation will be held.
Bobby McCoy passed away at Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler, Sunay evening, July 25, 2010. He was born in Saltillo on May 12, 1936, the son of L.B. and Ruby Bain McCoy. He married Patricia Jean Jacobs in Quitman on July 17, 1981. She survives. He retired from Rockwell International as a machinist and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: sons, Mike McCoy, of Dike, Danny McCoy, of Brashear, Rev. Tony McCoy, of Tyler, Jimmy Cope Jr., of Rockwall, Donna Cope, of Sulphur Springs, and Rickey Cope, of Nevada; fourteen grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Betty Johnson and Barbara Carter.
