Bonnie Montgomery

Celebration of life for Bonnie Montgomery, age 83, of Sulphur Springs, Texas will be held at a later date. Ms. Montgomery passed away at Christus Mother Frances Hospital in Sulphur Springs on Sunday, September 1, 2024.

Bonnie Jean Montgomery was born on July 21, 1941 in Cleburne, Texas to Melvin and Dorothy (Castleman) Parnell. Bonnie worked as a bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed all animals and doing yard work. Bonnie lived in Plainview, Texas for 50 years. She took great pleasure in shopping for everyone and watching old movies.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Mark Montgomery; grandchildren, Darlynn Northcutt and husband Hudson, Dominic Montgomery and wife Morgane; and great-grandchildren, Theo, Yuri, and Aubrey all of Sulphur Springs.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Whalen; father, Melvin Parnell; husband, James Montgomery; and daughter-in-law, Tammy Montgomery.
