Bonnie Rushing

Funeral services for Bonnie Rushing, age 93, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2011, with Rev. Charles Rawlinson officiating. Interment will follow at North Hopkins Cemetery, with Larry Norton, Ronnie Rushing, Scott Rushing, Garrett Hope, Justin Hope, Ryan Coursey, David Norton and Wesley Rushing serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, July 17, 2011 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Bonnie Rushing passed away Thursday afternoon, July 14, 2011 at Rock Creek Nursing Home. She was born in the Brinker community on September 15, 1917, the daughter of Nolen Franklin Terrell and Marcella (Smith) Terrell. She was a retired inspector for Munves Fashions and she was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: two daughters, Patsy Ann Carroll of Sulphur Springs, Doris Sue Cribbs of Athens; three sons, Kenneth Wayne Rushing of Huntsville, Shelby Lynn Rushing of Huffman, James Larry Rushing of Conroe; sister, Nell Tanton of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Debra Sue Norton, Larry Wayne Underwood, Ricky Cribbs, Sandra Burch, Ronnie Rushing, Judy Carantza, Sherrie Dike, Scott Rushing, Stacy McWain, and Karen Henson; great-grandchildren, Garrett Hope, Justin Hope, Stephen Cribbs, Tanner Burch, Heather Lester, Holly Christie, Ryan Coursey, Nathan Norton, David Norton, Shelby Scheuchl, Makenna Henson, Owen Henson, Tisa Rushing, Kaylie Dike, Amber Dike, Jessie Dike, Brian Rushing, Craig Rushing and Wesley Rushing and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters.
