Brenda McGee

A graveside service for Brenda McGee, age 57, of Fort Worth, will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Brashear Cemetery with Rev. David Burns officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Brenda McGee passed away Thursday evening, June 3, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Sulphur Springs, on July 27, 1952, the daughter of G. N. Peek and Mary Jo (Fite) Peek. She was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: two daughters, Angela Gayle West of Houston and Kimberly Kay Burrage of Georgia; son, Miles Eugene Mitchell of Houston; mother, Mary Jo Peek of Sulphur Springs; four brothers, Gene Peek of Grand Prairie, Larry Peek of Sulphur Springs, James Ronald Peek of Reilly Springs, Joe Kenneth Peek of Sulphur Springs; sister, Mary Evelyn Castro of Cypress; grandchildren, Eric West, Mitchell West, Molly West, Justin Ledbetter, Amanda Ledbetter, Brittany Mitchell, Casie Mitchell, Miranda Mitchell and Isabella Mitchell and one great-grandchild, McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Linda Sue Eastman.
