Carol Teer

Memorial services for Carol Susan Teer, age 61, of Sulphur Springs will be held Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at 10:00am in the Murray Orwosky Chapel with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. No formal visitation has been scheduled.

Carol Teer was born September 30, 1948 in West Virginia, the daughter of John Zones and Mary Ann Hamm. She was a long time employee of the City of Sulphur Springs and also worked as a commercial building inspector for HWC Eng. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs and was part of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She served in the United States Army as a military police officer. The Hopkins County Military Coalition will honor her with a flag ceremony at the service.

She is survived by one daughter, Cydney Williams, and husband Clint, of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Cami Williams, Clint Williams II, Karson Williams, and Parker Williams all of Sulphur Springs. Granddaughter Avery Williams is expected to arrive any day. One brother, John Zones, of West Virginia also survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
