Carolyn Rogers

A memorial service for Carolyn Rogers, age 65, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at First Baptist Church in Spence Chapel, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 26, 2012, with Brother Fred Lewis officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 25, 2012 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Carolyn Rogers passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 23, 2012 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born in Sulphur Springs on September 23, 1947, the daughter of John Riley Fouse and Aline Christine (Keith) Fouse. She married Jimmy Rogers in Sulphur Springs on October 2, 1970; he survives. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.
Other survivors include: son, Michael Rogers; daughter, Christine Harris, all of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Hannah Nichole Skaggs and Mikala Elizabeth Rogers; brother, Billy Joe Fouse of Arlington; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Royce Fouse and Troy Fouse and sister, Ima Grace Weeks. Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics or Wounded War Veterans of America.
