Graveside funeral services for Carvin Earl VanWey, age 82 of Sulphur Springs will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Sulphur Springs City Cemetery.
Carvin passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Sunny Springs Nursing & Rehab. He was born on April 3, 1933 the son of William Edward, Sr. and Florence Lavada (Pinson) VanWey.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, was of the Baptist faith and a plumber by trade.
Survivors included brothers, Ernest VanWey and Jodan VanWey; nephew, William VanWey and niece, Stephanie Halbert.
