Cecil Walker

A visitation for Cecil Walker, age 62, of Sulphur Springs will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home, 876 Wildcat Way, Sulphur Springs, TX 75482. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Brown, Johnny McCann, Carl McCann, Kolby Clayton, and Doug Anderson. Cecil passed away Sunday morning, November 6, 2022 at his residence.

Cecil Walker was born June 16, 1960 in Azle, TX to Charles Walker and Louise (Shannon) Pruitt. Cecil married Cheree Carter on November 10, 1978 in Sulphur Springs. He worked at Saputo for 26 years and ended his career as Supervisor. He was of the Baptist faith.

Cecil is survived by his wife, Cheree Walker of Sulphur Springs; daughter, TaKara Galloway and husband, Randy, of Sulphur Springs; son, Payton Walker of Sulphur Springs; brother, C.J. Walker of Washington; and stepmother, Carla Walker of Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Joe Walker; and grandparents, Cecil and Adwina Shannon.
