Funeral services for Charles David Quinn, 75, of Como will be conducted at 10:00 am, Monday, November 8, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother B.J. Teer and Brother Tom Maddox officiating. Masonic Graveside services will be at 3:00 pm, Monday, November 8, 2010 at Granbury Cemetery in Granbury, Texas with Richard Martinez, Daniel Willliams, Jeffery Holloway, Jodie Holloway, Joseph "Paul" Nelson, Royce Setzer, Jimmy Birmingham, David Lewis Quinn, and Joe Allen Fowler serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be at 3:00 p.m. till 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Charles David Quinn passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Granbury on June 3, 1935 the son of Frankie O. and Marie (McCoy) Quinn. He married Norma Faye Setzer in Temple on June 5, 1954;she survives. David was in the construction business. He served in the United States Air force and United States Army. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and First Baptist Church of Como.
Survivors include: four daughters, Loretta Quinn of Forney, Susie Birmingham of Mesquite, Frances Martinez of Kingwood, and Sonja Lancaster of Como; son, Charles David Quinn Jr. of Levelland; sister, Elaine Smith of Dayton; brothers, William C. Quinn of Lockheart and Wesley Myrow of Pittsburg; grandchildren, Emily Nicholas, Charlcie Fox, Tammy Vaughn, Tammy Ware, Jaime Houston, Christopher Birmingham, Frances Hernandez, Richard Quinn Martinez, Alicia Martinez, Griffin Quinn, Presli Quinn, and Pierson Quinn; 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty Holloway.
