Charles Skaggs

Funeral services for Charles Skaggs, age 41, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 20, 2008, with Rev. Lowell Skaggs and Rev. James Mason officiating. Interment will follow at Greenview Cemetery , with Daniel Skaggs, Dewayne Skaggs, Ronnie Skaggs, John Nabors, Miles Hutchings, Sandy Burk, Michael Elkins and Eric Marcum serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 19, 2008, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home

Charles Skaggs passed away Saturday Afternoon, May 17, 2008, in Hopkins County . He was born in Sherman, on October 15, 1966, the son of Claudie and Ruth Norman Skaggs. Mr. Skaggs was a highway construction worker for B & D Construction. He was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship Baptist Church .

Survivors include: mother, Ruth Skaggs; son, Dakota Skaggs; daughter, Samantha Skaggs; two sisters, Lovelle Berner and Martha Payne; two brothers, Daniel Skaggs and Claudie Lowell Skaggs, all of Sulphur Springs. He was preceded in death by his father.
