Charlie Clegg

A memorial mervice for Charlie Clegg, age 66 of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 27, 2014 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leo Wisniewski officiating. No formal visitation is scheduled.
Charlie Clegg passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born in Nashville, TN on August 28, 1947 the son of Earl Thomas and Anna Virginia Woodruff Clegg. He married Betty Ruth Foster in Hendersonville, TN on August 5, 1968; she survives. He was the retired Chief of
Police for the City of Bogota, Texas.
Other survivors include: sons, Brandon Clegg and wife, Lori of Prosper, and Shannon Clegg and wife, Heather of Princeton; brothers, Tommy Clegg of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Doug Clegg of Madisonville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Pricilla Clegg, Elizabeth Clegg, Molly Rose Clegg, Cynthia Daniel, Megan Daniel, Sarah Daniel, Tyler Lawson, Sevannah Shinn and great- grandson, Lucas Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Alecia Clegg.
