Funeral services for Chuck Morrill, 47, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Davis Street Baptist Church, with Rev. Andy Comer and Rev. B. J. Teer officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with Monty Tipps, Rusty Schulz, Eddie Lampp, Doug Curry, Bill Reese and Larry Pierson serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chad Morrill, Jack Lewis, Jeff Pendleton, John Kirkpatrick, Lance Taylor and Chad Kopal. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Chuck Morrill passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at University of Texas at Southwestern Hospital in Dallas. He was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan on November 29, 1963, the son of Clyde Morrill and Betty (Boyd) Morrill. He married Ann Marie Kirkpatrick in Mt. Pleasant, June 5, 1993; she survives. He was the owner/operator of C-N-C Audio/Video. He was a member of Davis Street Baptist Church. Chuck's love of music and ministry allowed him the opportunity to minister in many churches throughout Texas and surrounding areas, along with his brother, Chad Morrill and many others, including Doug Curry. He was blessed to impart his gifts and talents that God imparted to him to so many over so many years.
Other survivors include: son, Jake Morrill and fiancé Krista McMahan and son, Jesse Morrill; daughter, Hannah Morrill; mother, Betty Morrill; sisters, Annette Lewis and husband Jack, all of Sulphur Springs, Sheryl Pendleton and husband Jeff of Peachtree City, Georgia, Laura Taylor of Dallas; brother, Chad Morrill and wife Kristi of Ft. Worth; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Bob and Nancy Kirkpatrick; brother-in-law, John Kirkpatrick and wife Tia; sister-in-law, Cristie Kopal and husband Chad, all of Sulphur Springs. He was preceded in death by his father and son, Josh Morrill. Memorials may be made to Davis Street Baptist Church Mission and Outreach Fund.
