Clarence Reynolds

Funeral services for Clarence "Chock" Reynolds, age 93, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 2, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park, with Justin Holland, Jeremy Reynolds, John Reynolds, Arron Reynolds, Tom Batchelor and Paul Batchelor serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Froneberger, Ray Singleton, Sam Stewart, Joe Cortez, Dalton Froneberger, Brian Moore, Perry Altenbaumer and Wayne Murphy. Visitation will be held one hour before the service.

Clarence "Chock" Reynolds passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at his residence. He was born in Miller Grove, on October 7, 1917, the son of John Henry Reynolds and Ora Leo (Eddins) Reynolds. He married Orena Mccoy in Bennetsville, South Carolina, on October 7, 1944; she survives. Mr. Reynolds was an auto mechanic for Maddox Motors for 19 years and worked at the Appliance Hospital for many years. He served in the United States Army during World War II and he was a member of Country Baptist Church.

Other survivors include: two sons, Don Reynolds of Euless and Billy Reynolds of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Rhonda Batchelor of Sulphur Springs; six grandchildren, Jeremy Reynolds, John Reynolds, Arron Reynolds, Jennifer Holland, Tom Batchelor and Paul Batchelor ; eitht great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by one brother, Walter J. Reynolds and two sisters, Gladys Froneberger and Allen Rae Poole. Memorials may be made to Country Baptist Church.
