Clarice Smart

A graveside service for Clarice Smart, age 90, of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 5, 2008, at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 (Noon), Friday, December 5, 2008 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Clarice Smart passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Doctors Hospital in Dallas. She was born in Monticello, Arkansas, on February 7, 1918, the daughter of Eugene A. and Leona E. Freeman Fish. She married John Daniel Smart in Gallup, New Mexico, on December 22, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1991. Mrs. Smart was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Janice Smart of Dallas; two sons, Freeman Smart of Scotts Valley, California and John David Smart of Albertville, Alabama; grandchildren, Christine Phillips and Rachel Smart and great-grandchildren, John Phillips & Elizaabeth. She was preceded in death by brother, Freeman Fish.
