Claude Weatherbee

Claude Weatherbee, age 87, of Cumby passed away Sunday evening, September 12, 2010, at his residence. He was born in Sweetwater on March 18, 1923, the son of George Anderson Weatherbee and Callie (McClendon) Weatherbee. He married Rue Edwards in Sulphur Springs in 1942; she survives. Mr. Weatherbee was a retired maintenance worker.
Other survivors include: one son, Stan Weatherbee; one daughter, Regina Thatcher, both of Cumby; one sister, Mary O'Reatha Roundtree of Greenville; grandchildren, David Weatherbee, Josh Weatherbee, Angela Morgan, all of Cumby, Kara Thatcher of Plano and Laura Towers of Toledo, Ohio and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerry Weatherbee and Gene Weatherbee.
