Clyde Tucker

Graveside inurnment service for Clyde Tucker, age 81, of Cumby, Texas, will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Ridgeway Cemetery with Buddy Wiggins officiating. Mr. Tucker peacefully passed away in Mabank, Texas, on Thursday, April 30, 2026.

Clyde Tucker was born on September 1, 1944, in Greenville, Texas, to the late Charles and Opal (Waits) Tucker. He married Brenda (Woodruff) Tucker in Quinlan, Texas, on June 30, 1978. Clyde spent his working years as a skilled floor installer and was known as a dependable handyman who could fix just about anything. He took great pride in working with his hands and caring for his home. Above all, he cherished time with his family. In later years, he devoted himself to caring for his beloved wife, Brenda, showing unwavering dedication and love throughout her health struggles.

Clyde is survived by his children, Misty Tucker and Danny, Tina and Lee Frye, Tiffany and Robert Richardson, Benjamin Arnold and Michelle, Monty Arnold and Angie; sixteen grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; sisters, Fay Nell Hawkins, Geraldine Melton, Wanda Lowery; brothers, Charlie Tucker, Clarence Tucker, Merle Tucker; and son, Michael Stephen Tucker.
