Funeral services for Darrell Wayne Edwards, 58, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2011, with Rev. Clyde Warner and Danny Ballard officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park with David Jones, Benny Ray Kirkpatrick, Jonathan Keller, Danny Ballard, Rodney Keller and Don Jones serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Dale Branstetter, Buddy Thomas, Dakota Watts, River Watts, Savio Vazquez and Harry Leon Lewis. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Darrell Wayne Edwards passed away Tuesday morning, November 15, 2011, at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. He was born September 12, 1953 in Sulphur Springs, the son of James Troy Edwards and Roena (Kirkpatrick) Edwards. He was a truck driver.
Survivors include: his mother, Roena Edwards Butcher and husband, Robert; three sons James David Wilemon, Geane Albert Wilemon and James David Griner, all of Sulphur Springs; daughter, Anna Marie Clark of Kansas; two brothers, Eugene Edwards and wife, Rita, Jerry Edwards and wife, Georgia and sister, Shirley Moreland and husband, Ronny; stepbrothers, James Robert Butcher and Curtis Wayne Butcher; stepsister, Maxine Patton, all of Sulphur Springs; 11 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and special friend, Vickie Ferrell. He was preceded in death by his father.
