David Free

Funeral services for David Roscoe Free, 82 of Sulphur Springs will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Chapel with Shane Carrington officiating. Military Graveside will follow in the Peerless Cemetery under the direction of the Hopkins County Military Coalition with William David McPherson, Josh McPherson, David Ragan, Marlin Jones, Bert Kirkpatrick, Jason DeRousse servings as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Claude Wilhite, and Dennis Wilhite. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 pm, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

David Roscoe Free passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 at Sunny Springs Nursing Home. He was born on May 25, 1928 in Peerless the son of Robert Forest and Mary LuAutie Kincaid Free. David served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired Truck Driver and member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include: daughter, Phyllis McPherson of Sulphur Springs; son, David Free and wife, Gina, of Edgewood; sister, Adell Dixon of Birthwright; grandchildren, William David McPherson and wife, Lori, Amy McPherson, Josh McPherson, D.J. Free, Candice Cabainess, Alethea Free and Davina Free; great grandchildren, Bailey Cabainess, Braden Cabainess, Brennan Cabainess, Kenzie Murray, Kylie Murray, Taylor McPherson, Hunter McPherson, Tanner McPherson, William David McPherson Jr, Kyle Hogue, and Malori Hogue.

Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
