Funeral services for Don Leach, age 74, formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 9, 2010, with Rev. Al Davis officiating. Interment will follow at North Hopkins Cemetery, with John Leach, Anita King, Wesley Sellers, Shay Sellers, Chris Cornelius, Robert King and John Miley serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 8, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Don Leach passed away Wednesday morning, November 3, 2010 at his residence in Commerce. He was born on February 16, 1936, in Mingus, the son of Alfred Wesley Leach and Sara Edith (Collins) Leach. Mr. Leach was a retired iron and metal worker and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: five daughters, Lisa Gist of Lucas, Wesley Sellers, Vicki Clemens, both of Dallas, Anita King of Commerce and Rita Hand of Ft. Worth; two sons, John Leach of Dallas and Jimmy McHale of Little Rock, Arkansas; three sisters, Lawanna Morris of Sulphur Springs, Rachel Campbell of Tyler and Elizabeth Judkins of Florida; 22 grandchildren, Ledger Gist, Linsey Gist, Leelee Gist, Amy Sellers, Shay Sellers, Andrea Cornelius, Chris Cornelius, Brandi King, Ashley Corneliius, Robert King, Katy McHale, Hannah McHale, Chelsea Allen, Kristen Hand, Natasha Ariola, Cheyenne Gunneis, John Miley, Christina Scott, Crystal Leach Loyd, Kenneth King, Ronda Posey and Melanie Dotson. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ronald Leach; two sisters Joyce Wruck and Pat Simpkins and son-in-law, Kenneth King.
