Doris Cantrell

Funeral services for Doris Cantrell, age 78, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2010, with Rev. Wes Collins and Bill McQueen officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeway Cemetery, with Jim Wright, Chuck Clifton, Dillon Clifton, Chauncy Clifton, Neal Wright and David Clifton serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home
Doris Cantrell passed away Friday, October 22, 2010 in Dallas. She was born in Sulphur Springs, TX on April 1, 1932, the daughter of Gordon Coleman and Jessie (Haney) Coleman. She married Charles W. Cantrell on October 17, 1951. He preceded her in death in 1995. Mrs. Cantrell was a seamstress, having worked at Munves Fashions and she was a member of the First Assembly of God.
Other survivors include: two sons, Alton L. Wright and wife, Jeannie, of Garland and Sammy David Clifton of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, Clinton Coleman of Yantis and Ronald Coleman of Miller Grove; four grandchildren, James Alton "Jim" Wright, Chuck Clifton, David Clifton and Deanna Gitto and 18 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Aubrey Coleman and two great grandchildren.
