Memorial services for Dorothy Birchfield Kennedy will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011, 10:00 a.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Potts officiating.
Dorothy Birchfield Kennedy passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Kindred Hospital in Dallas. She was born April 24, 1926, the daughter of M.M. and Agnes Ruth Amox Birchfield. She retired from Southwestern Bell in 1981 after thirty years of service.
Survivors include: three daughters, Patricia Lenox McDonell and husband Mac of Combine, TX, Barbara Lenox Lawrence of Sulphur Springs and Glenda Lenox Hinson and husband Robert of White Oak; five grandchildren, Christi Brumble, Bo Brumble, Emily Johnson, Gary Walker and Brenda Lawrence; eight great-grandchildren and a brother, James Birchfield of Sulphur Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Tommy Lenox.
