Dorothy Stephens

A graveside memorial service for Dorothy Nell Stephens, age 87, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Yantis Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011. There will be no formal visitation.
Dorothy Nell Stephens passed away Monday afternoon, April 18, 2011 at Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab. She was born in Alba on November 14, 1923, the daughter of Leslie Nichols and Birdie (McAfee) Nichols. She married Ruben Stephens in Yantis on July 15, 1942. He preceded her in death in 2006. Mrs. Stephens was an aircraft electronic assembler.
Survivors include: daughter, Sue Rigsby of Greenville; two grandchildren, Angela Horton and Kevin Houser and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert Stephens; one brother and two sisters.
