Douglas Adams

Graveside service for Douglas Adams, age 83, of Emory will held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Ridgeway Cemetery with Bro. Mike Eason.  There will be no formal visitation.  Mr. Adams passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Rock Creek Health and Rehab, Sulphur Springs.

Edward Douglas Adams was born on March 16, 1935 to Bascom and Lottie Adams.  He married Margaret Ann Yarbrough and she precede him in death.  Douglas was a Trucker and Dispatcher for AMPI Trucking.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherry Coffman and husband, Tony; step-children, Charles Coker, Gale Martin, Kay Peterka and Karen Huie; numerous grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brothers, Paul Adams, Dalton Adams and Jerry Adams.

Douglas was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Gregory Don Adams; great granddaughter, Tessa Nicole Skeen; brothers, Billy Jean Adams, Malcom Glenn Adams; sister, Melba Scott.
