Doyle Attaway

Funeral services for Doyle L. Attaway, age 79, of Orange, formerly of Sulphur Springs, will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, at 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 29, 2009, with Rev. B. J. Teer officiating. A military graveside service, under the direction of the Hopkins County Military Coalition, will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Murray-Orwosky Funeral home, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2009.
Doyle L. Attaway passed away at Memorial Herman Baptist Hospital in Orange, Thursday morning, May 21, 2009. He was born in Como, on April 4, 1930, the son of Norris Attaway and Oletta (Crabb) Attaway. Mr. Attaway was a retired process operator for the Dupont Corporation. He served in the United States Air Force and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include: three daughters, Deborah Ashworth and husband, Danny, of Starks, Louisiana, Brenda Chesson and husband, Stephen of Call, and Donna Browne of Orange; son, Kenneth Attaway of Beaumont; sister, Jean Bean of Dayton; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister, Joyce Marie Attaway.
