Elizabeth Moore

Graveside funeral services for Elizabeth Moore, age 97, of Sulphur Springs, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2008, at Restlawn Memorial Park. Brother Fred Lewis will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 11th, prior to services, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.

Mrs. Moore passed away on Wednesday morning, January 9, 2008, at Sulphur Springs Health & Rehab Center. She was born on February 13, 1910, in Bakersfield, California, the daughter of Dr. Richard Henry and Jonna Ansley. She married Elmer Moore, in Dallas, in November 1930. He preceded her in death in 2003.

Mrs. Moore was an operator for AT&T. She was a member of First Baptist Church Sulphur Springs.

Survivors include: a niece, Margaret Sims, of Abilene; a grand-niece, Debbie State of Athens; and a grand-nephew, Richard Ansley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings.
