Eric was born on January 29, 1966 in Sulphur Springs to Daniel and Lillian Jane (Williams) Posey. He worked a a manager of Dollar General. He was a member League Street Church of Christ.
He is survived by his parents, Daniel and Jane Posey of Sulphur Springs; sister, Michelle Ingram and husband, Jeff of Tyler. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Ray Posey.
