Eugena “Gena” Faye (Sykes) Sparks, age 55, of Sulphur Springs, TX was born in Brookhaven, MS on August 15, 1968 to Howard Eugene Sykes and Willie Faye Townsend. Gena passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Plano, TX.
She is survived by son, Joseph Passmore, Jr.; daughters, Sabrina Sparks and Brianna Sparks; sisters, Tonye Usher, Tonya Hofland and husband Jason, Alice Schmalz and husband Jerry; brothers, Bobby Haley, Billy Haley and wife Carol; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gena is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Eugene Sykes and Willie Faye Townsend.
