Evelyn Windham

A graveside service for Evelyn Windham, age 85, of Sulphur Springs, will be conducted at Richland Cemetery, at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2009, with Rev. Ronnie Miller and Rev. Lee Huff officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Perry Altenbaumer, Bob Cowling, Charles Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, Brendon Cline and William Rogers. Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Evelyn Windham was born in Wood County, on February 22, 1924. She married Harold Rufus Windham at Wichita Falls, on July 3, 1943. He preceded her in death in 2007. Mrs. Windham was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include: brother, Rex O'Dell and wife, Barbara, of Sulphur Springs; nephew, Jeromy O'Dell and wife, Beth, of Sulphur Springs and great-nieces, Mattie and Molly O'Dell. She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Warren and Georgia O'Dell. Memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
