Frankie Payne

A graveside service for Frankie Jean Payne, 72, of Mesquite, will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at North Hopkins Cemetery with Rev. Annie Wagner officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Frankie Jean Payne passed away at Texas Regional Medical Center in Sunnyvale, Saturday, July 23, 2011. She was born in Sulphur Springs on December 26, 1938, the daughter of Lester Self and Gertrude (Moss) Self. She married Edward Stone. He preceded her in death in 1983. She married Lawrence Payne; he survives. She was a homemaker and she was of the Baptist faith.
Other survivors include: daughter, Glenda Lee of Forney; two sons, Glen Stone of Mesquite and Jeffrey Stone of Carroll, Iowa; brother, Murry Smith of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Michael Stone, Kevin Lee and Robert McTavish and great-grandchildren, Kloey Stone, Robert Thompson, Jr. Anthony Wayne Thompson and Alexis Thompson. She was preceded in death by sister, Edna Smith.
