Gladys Gregory

Graveside services for Gladys Gregory, age 92, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Gafford Chapel Cemetery, with Rev. Judd Gregory officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Gladys Gregory passed away Monday morning, May 2, 2011 at her residence. She was born in Sulphur Springs, on November 2, 1919, the daughter of Marvin Williams and Ruth (Worsham) Williams. She married Judson Andrew Gregory in Greenville on October 12, 1935. He preceded her in death in 1961. She was a retired shipping clerk for Southwest Apparel and a member of Gafford Chapel Methodist Church.
Survivors include: daughter, Jean Knight and husband, Bob, of Carrollton; son, Marvin Gregory and wife, Cindy; sister, Helen Ruth Gumm, all of Sulphur Springs; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two children, Shirley Ann Winters and Thomas Ray Gregory and three grandchildren, Britt Gregory, Cynthia Ann McCord and Douglas McCord.
