Funeral services for Glenda Hollers, 58, of Sulphur Springs will be 10:00 am, Saturday, July 31, 2010 at First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs with Rev. Fred Lewis officiating. Interment will be at 5:00 pm, Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Garden of Memories in Lufkin with Brian Hollers, Anthony Darity, Phil Darity, Jim Burrous, Dan Smith and Jim Butler serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 30, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Glenda Jane Hollers passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Home Place Hospice of East Texas in Tyler. She was born in DeQueen, AR on August 29, 1951 the daughter of J.C. and Chloe Ransom Gentry. She married Richard William Hollers in Sulphur Springs on March 16, 2007. He survives. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church of Sulphur Springs.
Other survivors include: children, Amanda Kimmel & husband, Sonny of DeQueen, AR, Angie Carvajal & husband, Raul of Allen, Alisha Canada & husband , Jason, of Allen, Brian Hollers & wife, Kresta of Lufkin, and April Lee & husband, Brent of Lufkin; mother, Chloe Hawthorne of DeQueen,AR; brothers, Don Gentry of West Blockton, Al, Johnny Gentry & wife, Joyce of Texarkana, Benny Gentry & wife, Faye of DeQueen, AR, Lyndell Gentry of DeQueen, AR, Garren Gentry &wife Vickey of DeQueen, AR; sisters, Lorretta Lake of RockHill, SC, Barbara Darity & husband, Phillip of Sulphur Springs, Charlotte Arivett & husband, Timmy of DeQueen, AR and Karen Gentry of Nashville; grandchildren, Jacob & Destiny Kimmel, Alec & Gracie Canada, Layal & Braiden Hollers, Camryn, Madison, & Gavin Lee; mother-in-law, Bobbie Hollers of Lufkin.
She is preceded in death by her father, J.C. Gentry and brother, Joel Gentry.
