Glyn Blankenship

Glyn Blankenship, age 67, of Sulphur Springs passed away Sunday evening, November 13, 2011 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital .
He was born in Miami, Arizona on September 29, 1944, the son of Cloyce Blankenship and Ledale (Moffit) Blankenship. He married Mary Edwards in Henderson County; she survives. He was a painter.
Other survivors include: stepson, Don Gumm and wife, Margaret, of Sulphur Springs; daughters, Teresa Blankenship, Virginia Blankenship and Stacy Blankenship; stepdaughter, Jackie Groves and husband, Bill, of Georgia; daughter-in-law, Leanna Stroup of Sulphur Springs; grandchildren, Melissa Stroup and Randall Stroup and great-grandson, Jayden Griggs. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Karl Stroup and three brothers, Donny Blankenship, Harold Blankenship and Gilbert Moffitt.
