Gorda Warren

Graveside Services for Gorda Tandy Warren, age 98 of Cumby, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Cumby Cemetery with Bro. Jim Moore officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Mrs. Warren died on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Carriage House Manor in Sulphur Springs.
She was born on May 2, 1916, the daughter of Edgar H. and Susie Abbott Tandy in Young County, TX. She married Charley Loften Warren on February 11, 1937 in Ft. Worth, TX. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Survivors include: daughter, Matilda Warren Childers of Cumby; grandchildren, Marvin Childers, Jr. and wife, Angela, Randy Childers, Pattie Sue Owens and husband, Billy; six great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Mary Beauchamp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and four sisters.
