Hurl Prock

Funeral services for Hurl Prock, age 81, of Sulphur Springs are set for 10:00 am, Saturday, August 14, 2010 at the League Street Church of Christ. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Friday evening, August 13, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Hurl Willis Prock was born in Hollis, Oklahoma on September 21, 1928 the son of Arthur L. and Leta Leeper Prock. He married Betty Sue Brookman in Quannah, Texas on February 7, 1948. She survives. Mr. Prock was retired from Lone Star Gas where he worked as District Manager. He was also a member of the League Street Church of Christ. Mr. Prock passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital.
Survivors include daughter, Brenda Wiggins, and husband, Buddy, of Sulphur Springs; son, Brad Prock, and wife, Beverly, of Tira; brother, Eugene Prock, of Amarillo; sister, Thanya Kirby, of Moore, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Lisa Stone, Lori Owen, Bryan Prock, Laci Nottley, Brooke Prock; great-grandchildren, Colby Stone, Kade Owen, Jace Stone, Blake Owen, Kinzi Prock, and Lia Kate Stone. He was preceded in death by three brothers, A.J. Prock, Herman Prock, and Carmen Prock.
