Jackie Clopton

Jackie Powell Clopton passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 15, 1933 in Rector, AR, the daughter of Elzo Jackson and Estelle Lambert Roden. She married Andrew Jackson Powell in 1955. He preceded her in death in 1985. She married David R. Clopton in 2013. He survives. She was a member of Southside Church of Christ and was a retired school teacher. Other survivors include: son, Andrew Powell of Cabot, AR; daughters, Jane Watley of Sulphur Springs, and Mollie Devereaux of Bryant, AR; grandchildren, Justin Powell, Joshua Powell, Erin Powell, Brandon Rhoads, Melanie Shank, Stefan Diamonte, Andrew Watley, Rachel Watley, and Danielle Watley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her first husband. A memorial service and inurnment will be at a later date.
