Funeral services for Jackie Miller will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2010 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Rawlinson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Sterling Cemetery with Jeff Matthews, Reese Hurley, Tony Hurley, Ronnie Miller, and Josh Key serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, August 3, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Jackie Miller passed away Monday evening, August 2, 2010 at Hopkins County Memorial Hospital. She was born September 22, 1946 the daughter of Claude Orval Clifton and Mabel (McCann) Clifton in Roswell, New Mexico. She married Travis Miller on March 8, 1969 in Mabank. Ms. Miller was a homemaker and a member of Independence Baptist Church.
Survivors include: husband, Travis Miller; and sister, Eva Potter
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Orval Gene Clifton and Roy D. Clifton; and one nephew, Troy Potter.
