James Gentry

Funeral services for James D. Gentry, 84, of Dallas will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel, with Brother B. J. Teer officiating. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from Noon to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.
James D. Gentry passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Doctors Hospital in Dallas. He was born in Yantis July 15, 1927, the son of Jack Gentry and Bertha (Pritchett) Gentry. He married Joyce L. Douglas in Dallas in 1981; she survives. He was a retired self-employed cab driver. He served in the United States Army.
Other survivors include: step-daughter, Linda Brockway of Richardson; three brothers, Jerry McDonald, Mickey McDonald and Kenneth McDonald and two step-grandchildren, Kassandra Brockway and Kenneth Brockway.
