Memorial service for James “Jim” Keith will be held at 11:00 A.M on Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with Rev. Eric Robinson officiating.  Interment at Pierce’s Chapel Cemetery will be held at a later date.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Mr. Keith passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022 at UT Health, Tyler.

Jim was born on October 30, 1943 in Lamesa, Texas to Elbert and Mary (Embree) Keith.  He married Vangie Jasmann in August of 1964.  Jim proudly served in the US Airforce. He worked as a Quality Inspector until his retirement at Rockwell Collins International for 30+ years.  Jim loved Formula One Racing, fishing, cooking, music and the great outdoors.  You could say that Jim was a man of many hobbies.  Jim was of the Methodist Faith and also a proud supporter of his local VFW.

He is survived by his daughter, Cammie Depke; grandchildren, Daniel Depke and Sarah Depke; sister-in-law, Barbara Keith; niece, Kim Gillem, husband, Stephen and sons; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Vangie; brother, Bob Keith.
