Memorial service for Jason Talley, age 52, of Brashear, Texas, will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Pastor David Hamm officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Mr. Talley passed away at Christus Mother Frances in Sulphur Springs, Texas, on Sunday, June 7, 2026.
Jason Talley was born on July 7, 1973, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, to David and Mary (Booth) Talley. He married Holly (Emmons) Talley in Sulphur Springs, Texas, on November 25, 2000. Jason was a dedicated Receiver and Inventory Specialist at Northeast Texas Farmers Co-Op, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to serving others. Jason had many nicknames throughout his life, including Jack, Punk, Tiny, Bubba, and Skinny, each one a reflection of the special relationships he shared with family and friends. He was loving, kind, and gentle, with a heart that welcomed everyone he met. Jason was always willing to lend a helping hand, offer a listening ear, or share a smile that could brighten someone's day. He cherished time spent with those he loved and created lasting memories through his laughter, compassion, and caring nature. He was a faithful member of Freedom Church of God in Emory, Texas, where he found fellowship, strength, and spiritual guidance throughout his life. He enjoyed volunteering for the church’s food pantry. He loved serving the Lord with all his heart and was growing closer to the Lord every day. His presence brought comfort and joy to many, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jason is survived by his wife, Holly Talley of Sulphur Springs, Texas; parents, David and Mary Talley of Sulphur Springs, Texas; sister, Allie Head and husband Tyler; sister-in-law, Hope Emmons; brother-in-law, Cole Emmons and husband Mike, brother-in-law, Matthew Emmons and wife Alina; nieces and nephews, Aidia Goldsmith, Reece Head, Madyn Head, Finlee Emmons.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Walter and Aline Booth, Bud and Francine Talley; aunts, Janet Tullos and Sandra Thompson.
