Jim Wimberly

Graveside services for Jim Wimberley, age 96 of Sulphur Springs, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Nelta Cemetery with Rev. C. J. Duffey officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home.
Ms. Wimberley passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Wesley House in Sulphur Springs. She was born on September 19, 1918 in Bromide, OK, the daughter of Dr. James and Mattie Germany. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sulphur Bluff Eastern Star. She married Charles Wade Wimberley in San Francisco in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1988.
Survivors include: niece, Pat Clark of Katy; nephews, Phil Rogers of Gunter, Lynn Rogers of Allen and Mike Griffin of Hendersonville, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Clyde Germany; sisters, Mary Burnett and Joy Rogers; nephew, Jim O'Conner and nieces, Jeanine O'Conner and Joy Griffin.
