A graveside service for Jo Ann Wallace, age 91 of Reilly Springs will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 15th, 2026, at Reilly Springs Cemetery with Aaron Wallace, Kaleb Wallace, Cody Salverino, Slade Daniel, Hunter Salverino, and Straton Salverino serving as pallbearers.
Ryker Daniel, Hank Daniel, Carter Daniel, Fisher Wallace, Archer Wallace, and Bentlee Wallace will be serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be held Saturday February 14th, 2026 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Wallace passed away on February 10th, 2026 at Carriage House Manor.
Jo Ann Wallace was born on April 17th,1934 in Hopkins County to B.C. Vanderslice Jr. and Mary Opal (Ray) Vanderslice. She married Kenneth Gaylon Wallace in Como, Texas on June 6th,1952. Jo Ann was a devoted homemaker on the dairy farm while raising her children. She later worked at Warren Petroleum in Como, Texas for 20 years before retiring. She was the kind of woman who knew exactly how she wanted things and made no apologies for it. Her yard was manicured by her perfectly….grass mowed, weeds pulled, flowers tended to, gutters cleaned and roof swept. She was feisty, fashionable and schedule-loving. Her bling sparkled, her heels were high and she wore her red lipstick like a star. Jo Ann was strong, independent and full of personality. She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs.
Jo Ann is survived by her son, Ken Wallace and wife, Sandi; daughters, Teresa Wallace, Rhonda Loggins and husband, David; grandchildren, Aaron Wallace, Courtney Wallace, Heather Salverino and husband, Cody, Kendra Daniel and husband, Slade, Kaleb Wallace and wife Katie; great-grandchildren, Hunter Salverino, Straton Salverino, Ryker Daniel, Hank Daniel, Carter Daniel, Fisher Wallace, Brailey Wallace, Archer Wallace, and Bentlee Wallace; great-great grandchildren, Harper and Hendrix.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
